It's always exciting when we can offer exclusive wines from some of the top vineyard sites in California, and the Single Lot Estate #07 Santa Barbara Pinot Noir hits it out of the park for $11.99 a bottle. Robert Parker has commented that "no viticultural region in America has demonstrated as much progress in quality and potential for greatness as the Santa Barbara region, where the Burgundian varietals Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are planted in its cooler climates." But this is no French styled Pinot Noir. The Single Lot Estate is big and bold, a full-bodied red which contain a heady and powerful combination of fruit and flavors. Due in large part to the conditions under which the fruit is grown, the winemakers in Santa Barbara also contribute largely to the boldness with which the wines are made.
"A complex and silky Pinot Noir with fabulous wild raspberry, vivid blueberry, wild berry and huckleberry fruit flavors supported by lively acidity, purity of flavor and a hint of spice finishing with finesse." The Wine Buyer, 93 Points
