Twice a Wine Spectator’s Top 100 wine of the year, there is perhaps no more famous $15 Oregon Pinot Noir than A to Z. Started by wine industry veterans: Deb Hatcher (Eyrie), Bill Hatcher (Domaine Drouhin Oregon), Sam Tannahill (Archery Summit) and Cheryl Francis (Chehalem). The inaugural vintage was honored by Food & Wine magazine as the Best American Pinot Noir under $20 and accolades have never slowed. Sourcing fruit from throughout the Willamette Valley, winemaker Michael Davies creates an exciting red full of alluring notes of raspberries, wildflowers and strawberry jam. Soft vanilla notes open up to red berry and cherry pie flavors, while moderate acidity gives it length on the palate with an enjoyable lingering finish.
"This widely available Oregon Pinot avoids the sort of winemaking tricks that take away detail and specificity. It is broadly flavorful with brambly blackberry and black cherry fruit, along with a streak of licorice." The Wine Enthusiast, 90 Points
