One of the biggest, most popular Cabernet Sauvignon's from California is Josh, with over two million cases sold of their Josh Cellars label. In California they say "Cabernet is King," and winemaker Joseph Carr has certainly dominated the market with his Josh label, a tribute to his father and a love for big, bold, and unforgettable red wines. No other wine project in California is enjoying such success. Sourced from select vineyards in the Alexander Valley, the 2020 vintage shows lots of concentration and power, due to the unusually hot growing conditions which made massive Cabernet Sauvignon. They managed to tame the alcohol to 14% but the flavors are all there. Fruit-forward and rich, with approachable tannins and a long finish. If you're a fan of Josh, you are going to love this Reserve Cabernet!
